The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps, (IRGC) along with Aerospace Force have introduced a new laser beam guiding missile. The missile is has a range of 5 kilometers and is named Dehlaviye after the city where Mostafa Chamran an Iranian scientist who served as first Defense Minister of post-revolutionary Iran was martyred in the Iran-Iraq war. This new laser beam guided missile can target low flying objects and ground targets. Iran's Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahamd Vahidi told Press TV this latest laser technology has received international recognition and has put Iran amongst the few countries worldwide with the capability of producing such a device. Brig. Gen. Vahidi also explained that Iran is fully capable of defending itself against enemies. This latest product of Iran's military is that it is also an anti-armored missile with an anti-jamming station.

[12 Aug 2012] Israeli prisons increase repression during Ramadan - English Prisoner Hatem Qafisha, an administrative detainee, said the prison\'s administration started to handcuff the prisoners\' hands and legs during meetings with the lawyers, and when using bathrooms. Qashafa also said that the prisoners suffer from these brutal procedures besides the hard living conditions due to the hot weather, the continuous cut in the electricity and the lack of the electrical equipment. The prisoner Musaab Fathi from Ramallah, an administrative detainee since 5/6/2011, also said that prisoners in section 6 live in harsh living conditions; the prisons\' administration didn\'t provide the basic materials for cooking, so prisoners just eat little amount of food that the prison provides and they are forced to drink warm water because there are no refrigerators in that section. He added that the prison\'s administration also put the African detainees in the same section, the thing that causes a lot of dispute between the prisoners.

Therefore, ‘negotiation for the sake of negotiation’, ‘tactical negotiation’ and negotiation offer in order to sell a superpower\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s gesture to the world is a deceptive move,” the Leader stated. Ayatollah Khamenei also noted that during the past four years, nothing has been seen from the United States but continuation of conspiracies, abetting seditionists and supporting the terrorists which assassinated Iranian nation’s scientists. “You (the Americans) point the gun at Iran and say either negotiations or we pull the trigger! Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has met with Leader of Iran\\\\\\\'s Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to discuss bilateral issues. During the meeting, Ayatollah Khamenei laid emphasis on the importance of cooperation between the two neighbors. He said the two countries should take strides in expanding political, economic and scientific ties, arguing that there are no obstacles to this end. He was addressing a group of school and university students on the occasion of Student Day in Iran. Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said the U-S is suffering from political problems and divisions which led to the recent shutdown of the federal government. The Leader noted that Iran\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s current economic hardships pale in comparison with those of the US administration. Ayatollah Khamenei said US officials made projections some 11 years ago about having 14-thousand billion dollars in extra revenues by 2011 or 2012, and that now, in practice, they are suffering from a huge 17-thousand billion dollar deficit. Iran\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Leader said that this alone shows America\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s true economic situation and the inaccuracy of their official calculations. Ayatollah Khamenei also made mention of deep divisions among Washington\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s allies, saying that the U-S has failed to convince even its closest partners like France or Britain to back its decision on launching a strike against Syria.
