Israel\'s plan to expel tens of thousands of Palestinian Bedouins from their desert land has sparked protests worldwide.
In Britain, more than 50 renowned figures including high-profile artists, musicians and writers have signed a letter to object to the expulsion. Israel\'s plan to forcefully remove 70-thousand Bedouins from the Negev desert by destroying their villages has already been condemned by critics as ethnic cleansing. In their petition, the British activists have called the act systematic discrimination and separation. The letter is part of a day of protest on Saturday in more than two dozen countries. Israel\'s parliament is expected to approve the eviction by the yearned. The move will pave the way for the construction of new settler units in the historic desert. Israel\'s settlement activities are considered illegal under international law.

After a thousand years of Bedouins living in the Negev Desert, Israel is threatening to expel 70 thousand Bedouins. If this plan by Israel is carried out, Tel Aviv will demolish 40 Palestinians villages, confiscate the Bedouin\'s land and rebuild settlements.
How is it that Tel Aviv can displace a people, destroy and confiscate their land and still think that it has every right to do so?

A highly controversial bill has been passed by a narrow margin in the Israeli Knesset which will lead to the second largest ethnic cleansing of Arab Bedouins since 1948.
The bill, which was recommended in 2011, is called the Prawer Plan Law. It includes the expropriation of 80000 hectares of Arab land in the Negev Desert and grants the Israeli Authorities strict enforcement mechanisms, such as implementing forced evictions and home demolitions without judicial outcomes. Any complaints will be left to the authority of the Israeli Prime-minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who gave full support to the bill as part of his policy to expand Israeli settlements in the area.

Protesters have held large demonstrations to show their anger at a newly-approved law by Israeli authorities.
Based on Prawer law, 30,000 so-called Palestinian Bedouins will be forced out of their land in the Negev desert by Israeli forces.
A non-violent protest was also held by hundreds of Palestinians people in the Beer Sheva area of the Negev Desert. They are demanding the cancellation of the controversial Law that will force them out of their land. Israeli forces handcuffed and detained more than 15 protesters.

As human rights abuses by israel are on the rise, Tel Aviv is set to join the UN Human rights Council. The irony has not been missed, as currently Israel is threatening to expel 70 thousand Bedouins from the Negev Desert who have lived on the land for at least a thousand year. Many see Israel being part of the UN Human Rights Council as problematic. This as Tel Aviv continues its siege on the Gaza Strip and Gazans have very little energy sources, clean water or proper sewage system.

Protests have been staged in occupied Palestinian territories against israel\'s Prawer Bill, which would lead to the relocation of tens of thousands of Palestinian Bedouins. The protesters call the bill racist and an attempt by Tel Aviv to ethnically cleanse the Palestinians. Israel says it will go ahead with the bill. More from Press TV\'s Nel Burden in Ramallah.

Saudi attack on Yemen condemned in Toronto: Peace and justice loving Canadians have not been swayed by the nasty propaganda of the Saudi regime and its supporters in the west that their attack on Yemen is justified. Instead, hundreds of people braved strong winds to denounce the illegitimate Saudi regime for its equally illegitimate war on the poor people of Yemen. There were also demands to put the Saudi rulers on trial for war crimes.
Chanting slogans against the Banu Saud as well as their masters in Washington DC, the protesters demanded an immediate halt to attacks on the Yemeni people that have killed more than 2,600 civilians so far.
They also demanded that humanitarian aid be provided to the people of whom more than 120,000 (according to UN figures) have been displaced from their homes since the Saudis and their allies launched their war of aggression on March 26.
There were also repeated calls for putting Saudi rulers on trial for war crimes since Yemen has not attacked Saudi Arabia.
Further, it is not the people of Yemen that have attacked Saudi Arabia, but the illegitimate regime of the Najdi Bedouins that has attacked the poorest Arab country in the region.
Speakers included Ken Stone from the Hamilton Coalition to Stop the War, Sid Lacombe of the Canadian Peace Alliance, Dave Mckwee of the Toronto Coalition to the Stop the War, Zafar Bangash Director Institute of Contemporary Islamic Thought and Maulana Zaki Bakri of Al Mahdi Centre.
Protest Rally was organized by the Canadian Peace Alliance and Toronto Coalition to Stop the war and supported by many Christian, Jewish and Islamic groups.
