This was declared by Dr Ashraf Ghani Ajmad Zai during a meeting with western representatives and military personnel in Kabul. The Afghan publics have welcomed the security transition process from foreign forces. Afghan officials have claimed that the afghan national security forces would deal better with the current security situation of their homeland. In the eyes of Afghans their own fellow citizens in military institutions are now capable of taking the security responsibilities and maintain stability for the Afghan people

Reports coming out of the occupied Palestinian territories say Israeli forces have killed at least one Palestinian man.
Ahmad Tazazaa was killed in a village near the West Bank city of Jenin. The 22-year old is the latest victim of Israeli military attacks on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. About 20 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli troops in the occupied West Bank this year alone. Israeli troops also made some arrests in the village of Qabatiya south of Jenin. Meanwhile, Israeli troops arrested 12 Palestinians in the West Bank city of Ramallah. Three Hamas officials were among the detainees.

Tel Aviv sends troops into a U-N-designated area separating Lebanon and Israel to collect an Israeli drone after it crashed in the area.
Locals and the Lebanese army witnessed the incident but there were no clashes. The cause of the crash is still unknown. Israeli aircraft regularly violate Lebanon\'s airspace. A buffer zone called the Blue Line was drawn between Israel and Lebanon in 2000 after Israeli troops withdrew from southern Lebanese territories. Beirut has repeatedly filed complaints with the U-N over the Israeli violations of Lebanese airspace. But the world body has failed to take any measures to end such violations.

The US president has asked the Pentagon to make preparations for the withdrawal in case the deal with Afghanistan is not signed. Barack Obama has also spoken to his Afghan counterpart about the withdrawal plan, and said that Washington is still open to finalizing the agreement. Hamid Karzai has so far refused to sign the controversial deal over major differences with Washington. The two sides are still at odds on some of the terms, including immunity for American troops and their attacks on Afghan villages and homes.

The deployment comes after community leaders and officials urged the withdrawal of all militias from the capital within 72 hours. On Friday, gunmen fired at demonstrators protesting against militias, triggering clashes between rival militants. At least 43 people were killed and hundreds of others wounded in the violence. Meanwhile in another development, the Libyan deputy intelligence chief has been freed by his abductors a day after he was seized near Tripoli airport. Libya has been gripped by lawlessness following the 2011 uprising against the rule of Muammar Ghaddafi. Ever since, myriad militia groups have been carving out their own territories across the vast mostly-desert country.

The Syrian army says scores of foreign-backed militants including Saudi and Tunisian nationals were killed during the offensives. It also adds that a large number of heavy weapons were seized from militant hideouts. Meanwhile, mortar attacks have left over a dozen civilians injured in residential areas in Damascus. The government has blamed the insurgents for the mortar shells.
