London calls on the British armed forces to send in reinforcements for the Olympic Games. The UK military has been asked to provide some 3,500 extra troops to guard the Olympic Games. The security duties for the event have been contracted in part to the private security firm G4S. But there are fears that the company cannot provide the 13,700 guards it promised to deliver for the venue.
Press TV has conducted an interview with Yvonne Ridley, a journalist and defense analyst, to further shed light on the issue.

Whilst William Hague has yet to set out how many refugees or the qualifying criteria, critics argue the UK\'s role in the issue should not be understated.
Chris Bambery has recently returned from a visit to a refugee camp in Lebanon. UK Prime Minister David Cameron has previously stated that Britain has already taken in around 1000 Syrians fleeing the crisis in the region.

Keeping a roof over your head in the UK is becoming increasingly more expensive and problematic. A new \\\'state of the nation\\\' report by homeless charity Crisis and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation paint an alarming picture of the country\\\'s growing housing crisis.
There\\\'s been a 10% rise in those housed in temporary accommodation and a 6% spike in those forced to sleep rough.Dawn Butler is a Labour politician working in Dawn Butler, west London. As the debate continues about how to alleviate the effects of the growing housing crisis, thousands of families in the capital and throughout the UK will be facing an uncertain future. Spiraling house prices, limited affordable accommodation options and benefits caps have all converged to heap more misery on already over stretched British budgets. The government disputes this stating £190m extra has been allocated to local councils.With a shortfall in available housing and a squeezing of existing budgets, many more families will find themselves without a roof over their heads before the crisis is addressed.

Abdol Shazad who is 20 was recognized as a refugee by the Home Office last February after a four-year battle in which it was found that he was at fear of being persecuted by the Taliban. But a month later The express published a story saying that he was a member of the Taliban and posted an online version of the story under which hateful and abusive comments were posted causing great distress to Mr Shazad Journalists say this type of behavior is indicative of the lack of ethics of large segments of the right wing media.The Legal Counsel for the Express, Chloe Strong Said: \"The allegation in the articles was false and the defendant wishes to offer its sincerest apologies to the claimant for the damage, distress and embarrassment which the publication of the articles has caused him.\" The Daily Express has apologized and agreed to pay him substantial damages. The exact figure is undisclosed. But this type of behavior from elements of the right wing press is unlikely to stop as a result For Mr Shazid at least, there has been some kind of accountability for this unethical journalism.

However, the foreign secretary said sanctions against Tehran would remain intact and will be enforced robustly. On nuclear negotiations between Iran and the P5+1, Hague said last week\'s talks were constructive. He said the two sides plan to meet monthly with the next round of talks due in Vienna mid-March.
